Fort Bend County Sheriff's Training Facility

The Project will include an approximately 88,000 square foot County sheriff training academy that will also house a portion of the County’s emergency medical services, including office space, fitness room, dispatch area approved by Houston dispatch division, auditorium, classroom space and room for expansion; and a driving training course, K-9 kennel, an approximately 86,000 square foot certified rifle and pistol range, a simulations building, and an approximately 10,000 square foot storage facility for special weapons and tactics vehicles. The sheriff training academy will become the permanent dispatch center for the County Sheriff and EMS. Specific components of the Project will be hardened according to all standards against weather and other natural disasters and have back-up electricity generation for weeks at a time.

Chambers County Justice Center

Americus Holdings, LTD is providing Chambers County pre-development services to deliver a 170,000 square-foot Justice Center Project that includes a new 300 bed County Jail, a new County Courthouse with 6 courtrooms, a new County Law Enforcement Center with 911 / PSAP and Emergency Operations spaces, and 450 surface parking spaces. This project will be developed under the build-finance-maintain (BFM) delivery method.

Brickyard Apartments

The Brickyard project, in partnership with Barbers Hill School District Education Foundation, has been permitted to develop 2 phases of multi-family projects. The first phase will include a 365,000 square foot, 336 Unit, Luxury, Garden Style Class A- Apartment Development designed to meet the demand in the market for a Class A- product with a strong sense of community.

Fort Bend County Epicenter

The Epicenter is in the heart of the Fort Bend County community, providing an outstanding venue for music, rodeo, graduation ceremonies, sports, and so much more. This 10,000-seat facility will have a combination of telescopic and fixed seating for a total seating capacity of 8,500 seats and 1,500 floor seats. It can also easily be transformed into multiple seating arrangements for different assemblies, music, and sports in a championship or tournament play.

The 170,400 square-foot Main Arena will have concessions and restrooms located in the pre-function space. It will also have elevators and stairs to access the concourse-level seating with concessions and restrooms quickly. The 20,000 square-foot Multi-Purpose Event Center will provide floor space support for sporting events and other large assemblies. A 20,000 square-foot Pavilion will provide covered staging areas for agricultural events and additional venue support space at the South of the Main Arena.

Panther Island - Fort Worth

This 26-Acre site is spread over ten land parcels, located just north of downtown Fort Worth. These strategically located land parcels on Panther Island are found alongside the Trinity River, LaGrave Field, Trinity Trails, and the 300-unit multi-family class-A project of Encore Panther Island. This attractive development platform offers highest and best uses for future, near-term development points to mixed-use of multi-family, retail, and office.

Houston Downtown Block

Americus Holdings is fee simple owner of 0.933 acres of land located at the northernmost end of Houston’s Central Business District. Situated between Louisiana and Milam, the property is just south of I-10, with access to both I-45 and I-10. The planned realignment of I-10 by TxDOT will create surplus lands of approximately 2.78 acres directly adjacent to Americus’ tract, which under current TxDOT guidelines must be offered to adjacent landowners for acquisition prior to sale on the open market. As currently situated, this 0.933 acre tract is suitable for mixed use development to include structured parking, commercial/retail, and multifamily housing.

SWC Grand Parkway & I-10 East

This hard corner at the highway intersection is the last 21.89 acres of a 200+ acre development which includes 566 single family lots (Meritage Homes), 2 multi-family projects, and ancillary retail. All other tracts have closed and are in the development process.
